**Process Engineer, Optics**:
**Overview**:
Support engineering activities required in existinng product sustainment, new product introduction, and process improvement to support current and long term needs of Optics operations.

Productivity improvement is our strategic initiative to reduce over reliance on labor-base manufacturing processes. Be part of the Engineering Team supporting the developing and deploying productivity projects to automate optics manufacturing processes.

**Responsibilities**:
**Existing Product Sustainment**
- Lead in First Pass Yield (FPY) Improvements activities to reduce rejects costs and maximize quality.
- Lead in Customer Quality Improvement (CQI) and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead in Engineering Change (EC) and Material Review Board (MRB).
- Work closely with Production and Advanced Engineering team to implement innovation solutions to improve productivity and quality.
- Comply and adhere to Regulatory, Quality and Environment-Health and Safety requirement.
- Any other duties assigned by Principal Engineer or Operation Manager.

**New Product Introduction (NPI)**:

- Review new product design and provide constructive feedback to development team on manufacturability perspectives.
- Perform in developing Process Parameters, Jigs & Fixtures and Process Controls for new and current products.
- Review and create BOM, Routing and setup benchmark cost.
- Support work improvement workshop and ensure completeness of process documentation and trainings.

**Your Profile**:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Material, Design, Aerospace engineering or equivalent field in engineering.
- More than 6 years working experiences for diploma holders or 3 years for degree holders in precision engineering or equivalent filed in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in process yield and productivity improvement projects.
- Able to use 2D, 3D CAD software for drawing.
