**SUMMARY OF ROLE**
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and sustaining product qualification test plan to meet customer requirements. You will lead reliability programs, and champion failure analysis and FMEA exercises to ensure design quality.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Establish and sustain product qualification test plan to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations & Build teams for developing design maturity metrics and issue feedback mechanism.
- Lead Reliability programs, establish reliability models and goals, enhance ALT capabilities.
- Champion failure analysis and FMEA exercises to ensure design quality.
- Co-ordinate with external testing agency for HALT and failure analysis.
- Ensure all reported defects from Qualification tests are logged and follow through till improvements are implemented and verified.
- Perform Data Analytics, commonality analysis, identification of bad actors to solve complex problems.
**RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
**Minimum requirements**
- Minimally Degree in engineering or higher in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Masters degree will be preferred.
- 7 years of experience in product quality in R&D or product development (NPI) environment.
- Minimum 4 years experience in Reliability Engineering and expertise in commonly used Accelerated Life Models.
- Knowledge in qualification test plan development, test instrumentation, failure analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone diagram, FTA).
- Familiar with Quality Management System, ISO9000, Reliability Standards, applied statistics.
- Excellent communications and presentation skills, ability to cope with dynamic work environment.
