**Consultations, Patient Care and Treatment, Training**:

- Perform initial assessments and evaluations of animals to determine the need for rehabilitation services, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations.
- Provide consultation to patients and perform assessment of rehabilitation needs.
- Create individualized therapy programs, including physical exercises, stretches, and modalities (such as heat, cold, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation) to promote healing and increase mobility.
- Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with veterinarians.
- Utilize rehabilitation techniques such as physical therapy, hydrotherapy, laser therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, and exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Educate pet owners on home care exercises, therapies, and maintenance plans.
- Provide training, mentorship and guidance to other veterinary rehabilitation therapists assistants on rehabilitation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of each animal’s treatment and progress and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for animal care.

**Collaboration with other Departments**:

- Collaborate with veterinarians from other departments and specialists to develop and provide guidance on rehabilitation plans.

**Desired skills and experience**:

- Diploma Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or a related field is preferred
- Certification in veterinary rehabilitation (e.g., Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner [CCRP], Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist [CCRT], Certified Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist [CCAT] or equivalent.
- Experience or training in physical therapy, massage therapy, or related fields is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in veterinary rehabilitation or a related field is highly desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,200.00 - $3,200.00 per month
