**VACANT POSITION**: Exhibition Retail Store Manager

**LOCATION**:Singapore

**Overview**:We are organizing a 3 month event experience at Marina Bay Sands with a world famous contemporary artist. We are seeking an upbeat and experienced Retail Store Manager to help us oversee the daily operations of our gift shop.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Identify and source products that complement the exhibition's theme, establish supplier relationships, and manage pricing and delivery.
- Design and execute attractive, engaging store layouts and product displays to enhance the visitor experience and drive sales.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, storage, and restocking, and implement systems to track sales and inventory.
- Train and manage gift shop staff to maintain high standards of customer service and sales performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service in the gift shop, manage staff, and analyze sales data to adjust strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (curatorial, conservation, marketing) and external vendors.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust merchandising and marketing strategies to maximize revenue.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 3-4 years of experience in retail management or a similar role, with exhibition experience preferred.
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of retail inventory systems and basic budgeting principles
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills and the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with art conservation considerations or three-dimensional design is a plus.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, use computers and other office equipment, and perform physical administrative duties in an office, gallery, or exhibit space.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
