As Manager/Senior Manager, UED - User Growth & Engagement, you play a vital role in our key battle of user growth and engagement paving the path through the practice of customer centricity design and systematic thinking. You will be hands-on with the end-to-end design for some of our most critical growth and engagement products, programs, and platforms at Lazada, working and collaborating with other designers, and cross-functional regional and local teams.

You’re a proven hands-on design practitioner
You firmly believe in design thinking, have advocated for it, educated others in it, and most importantly practice it in the everyday work. You stand for the process and methodologies to get to great solutions and know how to instill and maintain standards, practices and rituals for with cross functional teams to achieve it.
You believe that every growth and engagement product and programs are built to be part of a system for the end customer
Your portfolio has best-in-class craftsmanship, solved by the marriage of a great user experience, proper functionality, and the understanding of the customer. Your designs are clean, elegant and aesthetically sound. You are able to demonstrate relevance of projects and initiatives related to the focus of the role.
You never stop learning and naturally curious.
You are aware that this domain requires constant self-learning. From design variations that target different audience to major pivots and iterations based on data feedback. On a personal level, you are not afraid to unlearn existing behaviors to experiment on new ones.
Bottom line, you are always looking for the possibility of being wrong and open towards doing the right thing.
You are willing to do what it takes to understand and solve problems.
You know that understanding and framing problem intimately is crucial to solving it well. On some days, you might be conducting an observational user study to understand how customers use a new feature, or you might be analyzing BI data to understand why this feature is not performing as well as expected. You are also able to articulate your findings back to the team and come up with actionable recommendations.
You’re not afraid to design in the open.
You should be very comfortable in showing incomplete work with the team. We share work in-progress design solutions work regularly within the team. You believe in striking the right balance of customer testing to validate ideas and design. This ensures that you are always on-track and moving in the right direction.

You’ve shipped products.
You understand that every product, new or existing, is made through constant iteration, driven by data informing your decisions, insights and observations translating into meaningful action. You know how to inspire and collaborate with engineers to build products that have business impact without compromising on design integrity.

- Be familiar in designing for mobile, native apps and web
- Be proficient in design and prototyping tools like Sketch, Figma and others
