Senior Associate, Insurance, 5-6 Years Pqe

Kennedys Legal Solutions is looking for an Senior Associate with 5-6 years' experience for their Financial Lines Insurance team.The Insurance team handles a combination of coverage, advisory and contentious work in relation to some of the largest insurance and reinsurance claims in the Asia-Pacific region.

The successful Senior Associate will have experience of financial lines work (including Directors and Officers (D&O), BBB, Fidelity and professional liability) and trade credit insurance.

Experience of insurance claims and/or disputes work is preferred and the successful Senior Associate must be able to deal with cross jurisdictional legal analysis which frequently requires consideration of the law and practice of multiple jurisdictions.

This is a unique opportunity for a bright and ambitious lawyer keen on working in a market leading and fast growing team within a global law firm. The successful applicant will be exposed to a wide range of international work across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

Kennedys Singapore office was established in 2008 and in 2015 entered into a joint law venture (JLV) with local Singapore law firm, Legal Solutions to create Kennedys Legal Solutions.

Kennedys Legal Solutions pride ourselves on helping our clients navigate both business and legal challenges throughout the Asia Pacific region and across multiple practice areas, with focus in both the commercial and insurance/reinsurance sector. We provide a seamless suite of services across both English and Singapore law.

Our Insurance & Reinsurance team in Singapore is led by two market leading partners with extensive experience of handling a range of international disputes. Both partners are ranked in band 1 for Insurance/Reinsurance in the Chambers & Partners directory.

- International Arbitration experience preferred but not essential
