Analytical Chemist

In this role, you will:

- Be part of a team that performs research to provide verification support for National Security purposes
- Perform chemical synthesis and chemical analysis of complex samples using various instrumental techniques and data analytics techniques

**Requirements**:

- PhD / Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry
- Experience in the operation and optimisation of gas chromatograph coupled to mass spectrometric detectors for the analysis of chemicals
- Experience in the operation and optimisation of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy for the analysis of chemicals
- Experience in chemical synthesis during study or previous job(s)
- Possess good understanding of analytical techniques, including Gas Chromatograph, Liquid Chromatograph and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy
- Willing to handle toxic chemicals
- Good background in organic chemistry
