Our Advisory Services unit collects and analyses information, providing clients in multiple industries with key decision-making support.

**Job opportunity**

M-Brain’s Strategic Advisory Services provides Advisory services to assist clients with their growth in new markets (market entry projects), market opportunity analysis, competitive benchmarking, procurement intelligence and commercial due diligence. As a Research Analyst, your primary role will be to support the team on project execution spanning the Asia Pacific region. You’re learning curve will be steep. You will be exposed to many growth industries, especially in the ASEAN region. If you are a team-player, enjoy working in an environment that is unpredictable, have strong analytical and communication skills (English and another ASEAN working language), we’re very keen to hear from you. If you have experience cold-calling and conducting interviews, this will be a major plus.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct research on Asia Pacific markets covering various industries according to client needs
- Analyse data from disparate sources and deriving critical insights for target decisions by our clients
- Prepare written reports and recommendations for clients based on market findings and analysis carried out
- Manage and oversee data collection by freelance consultants in global markets, with focus on the ASEAN region
- Research and analysis support on the production of marketing material - whitepapers, articles etc.
- Support the team on new business development and proposal building, particularly by helping research markets for which clients require market intelligence.
- Other support as and when required.

**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years’ experience in B2B research, and/ or business analysis
- Interest in a widerange of business sectors and willingness to learn
- Experience working in or with multi-national corporations
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly analytical, organised, and meticulous
- Statistical analysis (e.g., regression) a plus, but not a requirement
- Fluency in professional English; working knowledge in any of the following Asian languages (Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese) an advantage
