Singapore Grocery Logistics of Singapore Pte Ltd Full time

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Grocery Logistics Singapore (GLS) a wholly owned subsidiary of FairPrice Group Supply Chain, is a well-established logistics player in the Fast Moving Consumers Goods (FMCG) segment, incorporated since January 1993. Other than being the key logistics provider for NTUC FairPrice and its subsidiaries, we had serviced the Dairy Farm Group, Royal Ahold Group (since exited from Singapore Markets) and many small supermarket chains since our establishment.

DESIGNATION : Operation Executive, FFDC (1 year)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The FairPrice Group Supply Chain Business Unit (FPG SC BU) or Grocery Logistics of Singapore Pte Ltd (GLS) is a key logistics service provider to NTUC FairPrice Group and external customers. Our services provided include inbound logistics, warehouse and fulfilment and last mile delivery to the stores, customers and B2C home delivery.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership and direction for the day to day activities and planning for the operations.
- Manage and evaluate daily operations liaising with internal staffs, contractors and optimize DC operations.
- To assist or lead with Department Projects under the guidance of HOD
- Developing, coaching and disciplining staff and conducting annual performance review.
- Managing department operations KPI's and ensuring targets are met and implementing continuous improvements to the processes and systems.
- Ensuring Health, Safety, Security and SOP's requirements and procedures are understood, implemented and compiled by all staff and external contractors.
- Provide support to the project team in testing, SOP formation, training and migration.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse work experience
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain/ Logistics or other related fields.
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Prior experience in managing a team.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team.
- Able to work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Good problem solver that can provide practical/creative solution
- Hands-on experience in Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Experience with cold chain management is an added advantage.

OTHER INFORMATION
- Working hours: Any 5 days (including PH and weekends), 8.15am to 5.35pm (will move to rotating shifts in future: 7:30am - 5:03pm, 3:30pm - 1am, 4:30pm - 2am)
