**Job Summary**:
The Laundry Assistant is responsible for ensuring the proper handling, washing, drying, and folding of all laundry items, including residents' personal clothing, linens, and facility-related items, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and residents' clothing as per standard procedures.
- Separate laundry based on fabric types, colors, and washing requirements.
- Operate and maintain laundry machines, ensuring they function safely and effectively.
- Report any machine malfunctions or required repairs to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to hygiene and infection control standards at all times.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and follow guidelines for safe chemical handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Monitor and replenish laundry supplies (detergents, fabric softeners, etc.) as needed.
- Keep an inventory of linens and notify the supervisor of any shortages.
- Handle residents' clothing with care, ensuring items are properly labeled and returned to the correct owner.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with the resident's family and staff.
- Assist in sorting and managing donations of clothes if applicable.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in laundry services is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control procedures.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift or move heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

**Work Conditions**:

- Standing and moving for long periods.
- Working in a warm and humid environment.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required.

Pay: $1,900.00 - $2,700.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Early shift

Work Location: In person
