**Job Description & Requirements**

A Hotel Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests when they arrive at a hotel. They are responsible for greeting guests, checking them in and out of the hotel, and providing information about the hotel and its amenities. They also handle reservations, answer phones, and assist with any special requests or needs that guests may have during their stay.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Process reservations, including room assignments and payments
- Answer phones and provide information about the hotel and its amenities
- Handle guest requests and complaints, and escalate issues to management as needed
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions
- Ensure the lobby and reception area are clean and presentable
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as providing directions or recommending local attractions

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple phone calls and guests at once
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with hotel reservation systems and other software programs
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing reservations and handling payments
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.
