**_Job Description Summary_**

We are looking for a creative, resourceful Mechanical Design Engineer to join us. The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for conceptual / detailed design and will have the opportunity to participate in prototyping, installation, testing and verification of their design.

**_Key Job Accountabilities_**
- The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for conceptual / detailed design and will have the opportunity to participate in prototyping, installation, testing and verification of their design.
- This role requires good technical writing skills to produce documentation for submission to Customers and Clients.
- The Mechanical Design Engineer will work with a multi-disciplinary team and exposed to interactions with customers, partners, vendors, and sub-contractors.

**_Required Qualifications & Experience_**
- Master/Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
- Well-versed with Solidworks and AutoCAD
- Well-versed with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to travel overseas when required
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical design or product development experience
- Good technical writing skill
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes

**_Reporting Relationship_**
- The incumbent reports to Senior Principal Engineer, PSD, Mobility Rail
