**About the job**
The Enrolled Nurse will be responsible for the delivery of nursing care to the residents in the Nursing Home. He/She will maintain accurate records of care, participate in orientation and in-service education programmes, and supervise other staff as required.
**Job responsibilities**
- Provide and ensure that quality nursing care and service is always rendered to the residents.
- Assist the Staff Nurse in ensuring and providing safe nursing practice in a high standard of care.
- Perform nursing procedures independently.
- Maintain proper documentation of vital signs and report to the Staff Nurse on duty / in-charge when there is a change in the client’s condition.
- Assist the Staff Nurse to serve the residents’ medications
- Participate actively in organising appropriate therapy programmes for residents.
- Respect and protect the rights and responsibilities of the residents.
- Mentor and supervise Nursing Care Staff in their work, clinical skills and especially in the maintenance of safe work practices and infection control standards
**Job requirements**
Valid practising license as an Enrolled Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
National Institute of Technical Education (ITE): Certificate in Nursing or its equivalent.
Dynamic and good team player
Good interpersonal and communication skills
**Working Hours**
44 hours per week (one rest day as rostered)
- Shift duty according to weekly roster
- Meal break: 30 minutes
Tea break: 15 minutes
