Responsibilities
- Gains from trading sequentially in meat (primarily chicken, swine, beef and mutton)
- Maintain relationships with producers and suppliers of frozen meat while creating new product lines for chicken, pork, beef, and other meats.
- Current frozen meat customer relationships are transferred while actively seeking new ones from FMCG, meat foods producers, wholesalers, supermarkets, and importers, among others.
- To take advantage of trading opportunities, stay current on meat pricing, markets, trends, and supply/demand pressures.
- On hedging, risk management, and operational issues, collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Keep the logistics team both inside and outside the company operationally aware.

**Requirements**:

- 6+ years of experience in a back-to-back frozen meat trading position (chicken/pork/beef/mutton) on the assigned geography
- Supplier and customer portfolio in the chicken/pork/beef/mutton trading space
- Shipping knowledge
- Thorough understanding of the global meat trading landscape
- A desire to establish a profitable personal meat trading desk in a growing company
- Ability to travel to Asia for customer and supplier meetings, as well as to the company's headquarters (Singapore)
- Working Location: Buroh Lane
- Working Time: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
