l Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment and supplies.
l Make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed, and path of the cut, and make sure the machine is set up properly, working well, and producing quality products following the customer's required specifications.
l Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production.
l Perform Wire-cut Machining jobs according to the operations instruction manual.
l Ensure that machine maintenance is done according to the machine maintenance checklist.
l Self-inspect finished work-piece before routing to the next manufacturing process.
l Ensure compliance with the company’s safety rules and policy.
l Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures at all times.
