**Job Title: Pastry Chef
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a menu of desserts, pastries, and baked goods that complements our restaurant's cuisine and meets our high standards for quality and presentation.
- Oversee the production and plating of all desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
- Monitor the quality of ingredients, ensuring they meet our standards for freshness and quality.
- Manage inventory and stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Train and mentor junior pastry team members.
- Ensure proper sanitation and safety procedures are followed in the pastry kitchen.
- Continuously develop new recipes and improve existing ones.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a professional kitchen, with a focus on pastry and dessert preparation.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and principles, including experience with dessert plating and presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage inventory and stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Education and Certification**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Professional baking or culinary certification preferred.

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg.
