**Valuation Actuary (Axis modelling lead)**:

There is an exciting, challenging opportunity to join LH2 Financial Reporting Team as **AXIS modelling lead**. You will oversee the modelling process and coordinates the modelling activities for the business written in Asia and Middle East markets. The role is also expected to provide necessary guidance and training to the business units, to ensure that they can produce accurate, complete and timely inputs for the downstream reporting process.

Your job

AXIS modelling (80%)
- Review model changes and new treaty conversions proposed by local offices to ensure accuracy, consistency and sufficient documentation;
- Manage, and coordinate quarterly, annual and other ad-hoc AXIS runs to support various internal and external reporting requirements;
- Work with data team and BU reviewers to ensure the latest development in several areas are appropriately reflected in the models;
- Enhance the overall model governance process and improve the efficiency of the current models;
- Provide support and training to the business units on AXIS related valuation topics;
- Provide technical support to valuation related projects, such as IFRS 17 and RBC2; and
- Manage the modelling team to support different internal and external reporting requirements.

Others (20%)
- Support other valuation and reporting related tasks, such as experience monitoring, treaty performance analysis and assumption review.

**Profile**:

- Minimum 3 years of actuarial modelling experience with one of the commonly used actuarial software; AXIS is strongly preferred;
- Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions), VBA and data management systems;
- In good progress with actuarial exams;
- Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS17 and Singapore/Japan/Korea/China/HK Statutory Reporting is an advantage;
- Responsible, proactive, meticulous, organized, motivated team player who is dynamic and adapts well to changes;
- Strong stakeholder management, people management, work coordination skill;
- Good communication and report writing skill.
