**About our group**:
Seagate’s Global Factory Information Technologies GFIT team are at the forefront of for creating and implementing data-driven solutions to support business decisions and operations. The use of AI and ML allows for real-time data analysis and decision making, predictive product performance, and the optimization of production processes. We collaborate with the business teams to harness the full potential of Industry 4.0 - Real-time control, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, Automation and Artificial Intelligence to support “Factory Digital Intelligent” initiative, to make better decision and maximize operational excellence.

**About the role - you will**:
As an AI Machine Learning Intern, have the chance to challenge you to innovate, drive meaningful impact at Seagate by designing, building, tuning, and deploying machine learning models that help reduce capital spending and operational cost. You will play a pivotal role by working alongside Data Scientist and Data Engineers to research and develop smart factory platform, powered by machine learning, that can provide the following capabilities:

- Detection of fault and performance degradation
- Prediction of process/equipment KPOVs

**About you**:
We are looking for individual who are
- Self-motivated, independent and a team player with strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with AI Machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries.
- Strong in communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical details effectively.

**Your experience includes**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in data science, AI, or machine learning.
- Proficient in Python programming

**Location**:
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work. Here at work, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at our onsite canteen and coffee shop. We offer a range of facilities including an in-house gym and dance studio, as well as after-work badminton and table tennis competitions. On-site celebrations and community volunteer opportunities also abound.
