Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform food quality tests and analyses to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Collect and test food samples, documenting results and maintaining records.
Assist in the development and implementation of food safety protocols in line with the Tripartite Council Policy.
Collaborate with the kitchen and catering teams to ensure food safety practices are followed throughout the preparation and serving processes.
Identify potential food safety risks and suggest corrective actions.
Conduct regular inspections of food storage and preparation areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
Keep up to date with food safety regulations and best practices.
**Requirements**:
Diploma or degree in hotel management,catering, Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Experience in food analysis or food safety (preferably in a catering or food service environment).
Knowledge of the Singapore food standard and other relevant food safety regulations in Singapore.
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
