**Responsibilities**:

- Support in d esign of the data governance and data quality roadmap
- Implementation of the data governance and quality operating model across the organization
- Develop policies and processes to support the implementation of data governance and data quality management
- Develop and maintain domain maps, and catalogue of key data repositories and their owners
- Develop and maintain data governance and quality related reports for senior management
- Manage and co-ordinate all key issues and escalations around data governance
- Research and analysis of data related topics impacting data governance and management
- Build strong partnership with stakeholders across the organization to operationalise related data governance policies and processes
- Collaborate with technology and cross-functions to develop understanding of data related challenges and pain points

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Data Analytics/Computer Science/Engineering, with Masters a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a data governance or related data functions
- Experience working in a financial services organization or multi-national corporations with large enterprise data footprints
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics programming languages such as SQL, python and experience with data visualization solutions such as Tableau (or similar)
- Experience working with data governance solutions such as Collibra, Informatica or similar
- Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality industry practices and frameworks
- Understanding of business, regulatory and technology issues related to governance and management of data
- Strong communication and engagement skills
