The Role
Helping customers architect scalable, highly available cloud solutions on private and/or public cloud solutions
- Work as a trusted advisor to customers to design their cloud transformation journey

The Main Responsibilities

**The Main Responsibilities**:
Responsible for supporting the achievement of the sales/revenue targets for cloud services for APAC, as well as driving revenue growth across a broad set of targeted enterprise customers in collaboration with the various RTM and overlay sales teams.

Lead technical and design discussions with IT executives to help enterprises speed their adoption of cloud technologies and practices

Develop future state cloud blueprints for key systems along with a transition plan and a roadmap, prototype solutions as needed.

In collaboration with the client engagement teams, assist with running customer cloud transformation workshops.

Field technical questions and educate customers on the value proposition regarding Lumen’s Hybrid Cloud Professional and Managed Services including assessment, consulting, migration and optimization services.

Lend expertise for responses to proposals; specifically addresses any items on RFPs pertaining to Lumen’s Hybrid Cloud solutions.

Support various marketing activities, which may include speaking at industry conferences, presenting webinars, and engaging in community events.

As the cloud expert, provide regular training sessions to enable the Lumen sales and overlay teams as well as technical peers to collectively improve their knowledge and capabilities of Lumen’s Hybrid Cloud offerings.

5+ years’ experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect.

5+ years architecting and provisioning solutions on public cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Alibaba Cloud.

5+ years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles with the ability to perform pre-sales solutioning

Proven ability to architect, design and implement cloud-based and/or cloud-native solutions

Hands-on experience with containerization platforms and server-less computing like Docker, EKS, Lambda.

Experience with migrations to the cloud from both physical and virtual environments

Knowledge of DevOps methods and CI/CD automation practices

Experience in Configuration Management platforms (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible)
