Job Title: Petshop Driver and Assistant

Location: Macpherson

, Permanent

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 5.5 Days Work Week

Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Safely transport clients' dogs to and from the pet shop and their designated locations.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of the dogs during transportation, including securing them properly in the vehicle and providing water if necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is equipped with all necessary supplies for transporting dogs.
- Assist with ad hoc duties within the pet shop, including dog sitting, feeding, and grooming as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, including answering questions and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Handle dogs of all breeds and temperaments with care and respect, ensuring their well-being at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries to yourself, clients, or the dogs.
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the team to coordinate schedules and ensure efficient operations.
- Keep accurate records of transportation routes, schedules, and any incidents that may occur during transit.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall functioning of the pet shop.

**Requirements**:

- Valid class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience working with animals, particularly dogs, is preferred.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments in a safe and compassionate manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime hours as needed.
- Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
- Physical ability to lift and carry dogs of various sizes and weights.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
