Boeing Singapore is seeking a talented **Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist** to join the programs team to be based in **Singapore**.

This is an exciting role supported by a fantastic team of professionals who will give you the opportunity to shine.

**Responsibilities**
- Planning, directing, and coordinating EHS activities through functional teams, and with direction of the EHS Manager for SouthEast Asia
- Act as key EHS liaison with site leaders and business partners assisting in the execution of strategic and tactical EHS plans
- Monitor emerging EHS regulations and assess applicability
- Ensure in-country regulatory compliance with the applicable local / international regulatory requirements and internal EHS programs in SouthEast Asia.
- Support EHS due diligence reviews in the SouthEast Asia region.
- Support locations to maintain the ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 certifications as applicable.
- Coach, lead, and motivate EHS teammates and business partners to achieve EHS objectives in a timely and safe manner, while continuously striving to improve safety skills & awareness
- Develops and documents comprehensive EHS management systems
- Leads interface with regulatory agencies
- Evaluates new technologies and processes to develop strategies and tactics for reducing workplace hazards and environmental impacts
- Support internal and external EHS related audits
- Support emergency response to EHS related incidents
- Coordinate investigation incidents and put root cause corrective actions in place
- Develop education and training material to support regulatory and business requirements
- Leads program reviews, investigations and provides corrective action to prevent re-occurrence of incidents
- Helps to establish a culture that is aligned with EHS objectives, with continuous EHS improvements
- May travel up to 25%

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Strong knowledge of SouthEast Asia environmental, occupational safety and health regulations, EHS management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
- Demonstrates professionalism, passion for change, result driven
- Must be highly organized; able to prioritize and meet target dates in a very fast-paced environment
- Experience with BizSafe implementation (Singapore Government Safety certification)

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:

- Tertiary qualification in EHS or similar, with minimum 7 years of EHS experience in an operational environment
- Possess Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:

- Registered Safety Officer
- Certified Safety Professional
- Fire Safety Manager
- Ability to work independently yet sees others as partners and essential team members
- Strong organizational and system implementation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

**Typical Education/Experience**:
Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
