**About the Team**:
- Shopee’s Data Product Management Team is looking for data talents to design, build and enhance data products in our supply chain ecosystem. Data Products play key roles in facilitating and maximising effectiveness of data.- Drive product definition and execute a staged development cycle to ensure complete solutions are architected to fulfil business needs and requirements, taking into consideration business impact, technical feasibility, user experience and implementation schedule.
- Formalise assumptions about how supply chain related operations are expected to behave, create definitions for outliers and systematically identify these outliers to either explain why they are reasonable or propose fixes.
- Co-own product roadmap along with product lead and business stakeholders to ensure product direction is aligned with both short term and long term business goals.
- Analyse data, build statistical and machine learning models and algorithms when needed.
- Cultivate a work culture of excellence, commitment, and ownership.
- Mentor and lead the team towards greater professionalism.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Business Analytics, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Economics/Applied Economics or in another quantitative and engineering field.
- At least 3 years of experience in product technical design such as system architect and data/database schema or hands-on data analysis.
- Deep understanding and strong interest in data products and e-commerce business.
- Knowledge of product development cycle, quantitative modelling, statistical analysis skills, problem-solving skills, and using statistical tools.
- Knowledge of model development, model validation, model implementation, machine learning, simulations, and operation research, are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data and information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executives and technical/non-technical leaders.
- Natural curiosity and desire to learn.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (preferred) to facilitate cross border discussions and collaborations
- Hands-on experiences or knowledge on SQL and Python is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Flexibility to learn new skills and knowledge.
- Energetic, positive attitude and team player.
