Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.?
DBS Bank is looking for a technical architect with experience working on enterprise level systems to drive design, implement and manage private cloud technologies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop and maintain IT infrastructure architecture.
- Analyze current IT infrastructure and create plans for improvement.
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure security policies and procedures.
- Conduct research and recommend new technologies and systems.
- Work with IT teams to make sure IT architecture is properly implemented.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to project teams.
- Design and implement technical solutions for infrastructure projects.
- Develop deployment strategies and implementation plans for infrastructure projects.
- Develop and implement operational processes for managing and maintaining infrastructure components.
- Lead and mentor technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with private & public cloud technology covering compute, network and storage.
- Automation experience, we will automate everything that can be automated.
- A commitment to DevOps best practices.
- Strong knowledge in virtualization technologies and server administration.
- Good understanding in network technologies, protocols such as TCP/IP, TLS, HTTPS, DNS, REST, LDAPS, Kerberos
- Good understanding in security best practices
- Good understanding in storage technology such as SAN, Object Store, NFS.
- Optional competencies
- Software Engineering experience with one or more of languages Shell-scripting, PHP, Java or Python
- Experience with Puppet, Ansible and Jenkin
- Databases knowledge SQL, MariaDB
- Infrastructure observability.
