**Job Sumary**:
The Social Worker is committed to supporting individuals and families in need. This role involves assessing clients' needs, developing intervention plans, and providing ongoing support to enhance their well-being and foster positive social outcomes.

**Job Description:
Daily tasks:

- Renders professional social work services and advice to students and their families
- Perform all administrative duties pertaining to work such as report writing, minutes and correspondence
- Work closely with other professionals to achieve and maintain a high standard of social work services to students
- Serving clients with appropriate professional skill
- Maintaining integrity and professionalism by upholding valves and ethics like client’s confidentiality
- Being respectful and sensitive to client’s cultural background
- Maintaining accurate data and sharing information to ensure accountability to clients; and
- Developing own professional competency

Weekly tasks:

- Identifies, plans, initiates and monitors existing and new programmes and activities so as to enhance the standard of social work services in the preschool
- Keeps updated records of students’ case files and participates in case consultation

Monthly task:

- Ensure compliance of practices (SSR, QA, PES) aligns with NCSS/MSF requirements.

Ad-hoc tasks:

- Advises and conducts training session for teachers and assistant teachers, parents and volunteers from a social aspect.
- Conduct mean testing, prepared social report including home visit
- Conduct enrollment and discharge interview
- Prepared student discharge plan referring to school with parent
- Organize Parent support group
- Volunteer management support
- Any other duties as assigned by management

**Job Requirements**:

- Grad Diploma/ Degree in Social Work, registered Social Worker preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of related work experience
- Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Hardworking, meticulous and responsible.
- Relevant work experience in the special needs sector would be an advantage
