**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Responsibilities**
- To assist the WSHO in managing the WSH issues in plant, yard and warehouse environment.
- Conduct daily HSE inspections to ensure all activities are carried out in accordance to MOM requirements and compliance by employees.
- Conduct site safety assessments such as, Confined Spaces and Hot Works.
- Ensure compliance by Employees and Contractors on HSE plans, policies, SWPs, PTW procedure, etc.
- To prepare and submit weekly safety report to WSHO.
- To check and report to Company in a timely manner for any safety infringement and incidents/accidents.
- Assist WSHO on incident/workplace investigations and ensure and enforce corrective action plans.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements by coordinating safety awareness trainings, programme and initiatives.
- Perform risk assessments, safety procedures and rectify any gaps to ensure full compliance with the statutory requirements.
- In charge of HSE documents, processes and controls.
- Inspection of materials delivered by supplier to ensure conformity and arrange
for testing if required.
- Promote WSH Culture Development.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.
**Requirements**:
- Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) - Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant - formerly MOM OPISC
- Managing Work at Height Course
- Confined Space Safety Assessor
- Hot Work Safety Assessor Course / Shipyard Safety Assessor for Hot Work Certification Course
- Preferably with valid First Aid, CPR and AED certification
- Experienced in Process Plant / Industry and Shipyard environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Extensive knowledge of safe systems of work (e.g., PTW, MSRA)
- Extensive knowledge of incident investigation tools (e.g., root cause analysis, etc.)
- Hands on experience in fire-fighting, training and incident response will be a plus
- Preferably possess own transport
