**Job Purpose**

Key leadership position with an entrepreneurial mind-set and a strategic objective aiming to accelerate and support the growth ambition of the company. As an Industry Relations Director - North Asia based out in Singapore, you will be part of the Global Supply team and directly report into the VP - Supply and dotted line reporting to Director - Industry Relations, APAC for the growth of APAC as a region. The IR Director will be responsible for Airline & Consolidator strategy, coordinating and managing daily operational follow-ups with the Global Contract Managers and Airlines, Tourism Boards and Consolidators in North Asia region. Leading and improving the global & local relationship with different carriers, other suppliers and consolidators.

Creating the best relationship with the Airlines and partners, negotiating the best contracts and exclusive content. Create value for partners and establish value recognition. Managing the managers responsible for their own portfolio incentives by making monthly forecasts and business plans to increase our sales.

In this role you are required to stay connected with other departments and other Regional IR Directors for your success. You will work closely with Pricing, Commercial, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, Payment and Fraud, as the results and challenges of those teams have a direct impact on the revenue, thus many improvements will depend on collaboration and getting other teams along.

You operate within the APAC-based team, liaising Pricing, Operations, Revenue Management, Global Marketing and Airline and other Supplier partners to build relationships and implement daily operations requirements.

Knowing the competition in the different regions and being able to communicate and negotiate similar deals with Airlines, Tourism Boards, Non Airline Partners and Consolidators. Plus Internally update and communicate with Pricing & Marketing about local practices. You monitor sales performance to achieve results and targets as contracted with Airlines by coordinating with the Pricing team.

You will have global responsibility for reaching set KPIs for IR. These KPIs will include budget, number of partners and other deliverables as defined in line with the Company and IR strategy.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing Global & Local Contracts Directly or through your contract managers responsible for their own portfolio incentives by making monthly forecasts and business plans to increase our sales.
- You are responsible for coordinating and managing daily operational follow-ups with Airlines, Consolidators, Tourism Boards (and other partners) across the different region's and Inter departments.
- One of your main tasks will consist of creating a Partnership strategy and of supporting the team with negotiating contracts and/or special rates with Airlines and Consolidators.
- Support VP with Business Strategy / Planning / Key Initiative / Defining growth drivers / Reports and Analysis as and when needed.
- You will work closely together with the Pricing and Operations team to implement required strategies as negotiated with the Airlines.
- Ensure all the commission contracts / Special deals are displayed and priced competitively
- You will work directly with our airline partners and Consolidators to maintain the ongoing relationship and strive for better contracts and rates.
- Lead and anticipate performance KPIs, opportunity leads, share potential with each partner.
- Conduct Regular Business review Meetings with Airlines and Internal Departments
- You have an understanding of (Airline) business and commission earning across the world and are aware of the competition practices in the region.
- You are required to seek opportunities to get new Airline and Consolidator contracts in the region
- Provide guidance to all Internal Teams on best practices.
- Define strategy and focus per region in collaboration with local experts and take ownership of the strategic plan and define processes to facilitate its execution.
- Risk Assessment analysis of Airlines and Consolidators at Regular intervals
- Coach, Mentor and develop team members
- Work on development plans for self and Team improvement evolving HR
- Define goals and KPIs for Team and self in line with Business Strategy of Company & IR
- Represent the local office and coordinate being a Focal point for Legal / Finance and HR
- Represent Travix when in touch with external parties and/or attending events
- Plan Events to host Offsite.

**What you bring to the table**
- +8-10 years experience in Airline or OTA Industry
- Leadership and Administrational capabilities
- Experience working with cross functional teams including senior leadership across a various business units
- Analytical thinking and high degree of self-responsibility
- Can do mentality and result driven
- Happy challenging the status quo and driving change
- Ability to function under pressure and agile to adapt changes as required
