Job purpose:
This position is responsible for maintaining information security guidelines and procedures for Asia region as well as managing the security processes to enhance the security environment according to the Bank’s guidelines and standards and the local regulatory requirements in the respective Asia locations.

Key activities:
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 2LoD threat and security monitoring, ensure the level of consistency; identify and report on potential threat in the threat landscape and to be in-line with local regulatory requirements.
- Establish, manage and coordinate incident management process.
- Operate and maintain security infrastructure e.g. assessment scan tools
- Responsible to implement and conduct vulnerability scans and security baseline compliance check, work with technology colleagues to ensure the security requirements are met and technology risks are addressed and ensure compliance with information security standards
- Manage, coordinate, produce and follow up on the monthly report for the various security platform
- Identify and analyse suspected and actual breaches of security
- Responsible to establish, follow through the user awareness program e.g. online security training, spotlight and bulletin, phishing campaign etc

Other Duties
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and regulations within the scope of Security, understand the latest threats, technologies and mitigation and provide input to regional and global security organisation
- Identify area for improvement
- Undertake such other ad-hoc duties as may be required from time to time which are commensurate with the position

Formal education:

- University or college degree or comparable
- Security related certification preferred

Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification):

- Suitable experience in similar roles, preferable within the financial services industry
- Awareness of technologies including intrusion detection techniques, Internet security, encryption and digital certificate uses, firewall management
- Excellent written and presentation skill
- Ability to prioritise work and deliver results in a pressurised environment. Ability to set clear and measurable goals and deliver results that meet these targets.
- Good understanding of security technology domains
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Organized and resourceful with trouble-shooting skills
- Takes initiative in work
