**As part of the broader Middle Office team in Singapore you will support the FX product and be a key partner to front office and other internal departments/stakeholders.**
**You will provide oversight/guidance/support to the team in Manila, while taking ownership for driving improvements that will benefit not only the team but the bank/business as a whole.**

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Primarily support the Global Emerging Markets and Global Foreign Exchange businesses in APAC, but also work with other desks who require FX product support (e.g. Wealth Management)
- Oversight of, and partnership with, extended team in Manila to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of their activities
- Participate in, and drive, strategic and ad hoc projects (e.g. regulatory, system/process improvements, data analysis)
- Represent the FX Middle Office team in audit, control, and regulatory activities
- Involvement in new business initiatives (NPAs/NTAs)

**Your skills and experience**:

- 3+ years’ experience in trade support, middle office, or operations role
- Some knowledge and exposure to programming languages (e.g. Oracle SQL, VBA, Python) and data analysis
- Mindset to challenge and re-engineer processes to meet changing needs of the business
- Product knowledge: NDFs, Options (vanilla/structured), Interest Rate Derivatives
- Managed operations processes, with a good understanding of the front-to-back flow, with a particular focus on controls and efficiency
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and work as part of a wider regional team
- Strong grasp of Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
