Veterinary Nurse

Monster Pet Vet is currently welcoming a dependable and caring Veterinary Nurse or Technician to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the clinic. We are committed to supporting pet owners and the veterinary community by providing the highest level of animal care.

The primary role of Veterinary staff includes but not limited to:

- Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for our pet parents
- Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients
- General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common public areas
- Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures, and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
- Exceptional client service skills
- Compassion and nurturing attitude
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and adapt to changing situations
- Take initiative and work independently

As the applicant will be working with a team, he/she is expected to be flexible with the working hours/shifts, should the need arise.

- Overtime pays at 1.5x after 44hrs per week
- 13th month bonus at year end after a completion of 12-month of employment.
- No night shifts but may require coming back on rotational basis on closed-business days just to feed our cats and this includes remuneration.

- 4-day work week from Monday-Saturday (Closed on Sunday/PH)
- OIL given if not rostered to work on PH days
- Opportunity for CPD with annual Singapore Vet Show (depend on course availability)
