As a temp staff in the Veterinary Science Programmes Branch of the Community Animal Management Division, you will be involved in animal population research studies.

These include implementing fieldwork study on community animals such as stray cats, also known as Free-Roaming Cats (FRCs) and stray dogs, also known as Free-Roaming Dogs (FRDs).

You will assist in the research projects involving the FRD population to determine the impact of sterilisation on the demographic and behaviour of FRDs. You will also assist with studying the movement of the FRDs and FRCs using tracking technology. You will be involved in field work, data collection, statistical analysis, and scientific report writing

**Work Arrangement**:
Location: JEM

Working Hours:
8.30am to 6pm Mon to Thu

8.30am to 5.30pm Fri

**Salary**: Hourly Rated (TBA)

Contract Duration: 5 Months

**Job Requirement**:

- Keen interest and experience in research and field work
- Prior experience in ecological field work, data collection, research and statistical analysis is preferable
- Independent, self-motivated and able to carry out research tasks
- Willing to work weekends and after office hours
- Possess good writing and communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office Applications and R or other statistical software
- Has a Class 3 vehicle licence
