Talend Developer

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Design, develop and deliver data integration/data extraction solutions using Talend and ControlM for flow scheduling.
- Interact with stakeholders to understand and implement new requirements
- Migration experience from ETL IBM DataStage to Talend is plus
- Building process and documentation of best practice, coding norms and guidelines, CICD process and Quality delivery.
- Debug data quality issues by analyzing the upstream sources and provide guidance
- Work closely with Architecture & designer in understanding business requirement and challenge them if it’s not following best practices
- Able to lead-by-example, Mentor and train peers.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of business operations and understands the technical scope and objectives of each project.
- Ensure that proper testing and quality control processes are established, implemented, and followed to enable high data integrity, volumes, and frequency.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- 6+ years relevant experience on Talend, 10+ years of overall experience.
- Working on multi domain projects in plus like Retail, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, digital & etc.
- Mandatory: ETL Talend 8, Talend 7.x, Unix, SQL
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
- Knowledge on muti-cloud tenant and PAAS architecture
- Data integration design using multiple data format: database, flat file, XML, csv, IDOC, mainframe
- Should have worked with optimizing techniques - adding indexes, caching, lookups, etc
- Proven track record in using programming languages such as Python, Java, Kafka

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
