Sales, Distribution and Business Development plays a vital role in understanding and meeting customer needs by offering the right solutions through the right channels to the right customer segments. The team is responsible for implementing distribution strategy, driving the delivery of market leading personal banking customer experiences and thereby maximising customer satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a** Vice President, Incentive and Recognition.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Governance & Control of Staff Incentives. Improve existing and/or develop new staff incentive disbursement process; institute process-compliance so as to make function audit-proof. Make transparent the incentive allocation methods and establish clear links between incentive disbursed and performance measurements. Disburse incentive accurately and timely. Contain incentive to AOP budgeted amount as per planned in AOP
- AOP Planning & Sales Target Setting. Plan and execute sales targets for all WPB Retail sales roles to ensure business goals and objectives are met. Working with WPB Business Finance team to develop incentives schemes to motivate sales staffs yet maintain a healthy CIR
- Internal & External Benchmarking. Working closely with the distribution function, conduct periodic assessments with internal sales staff and external sources to measure relevancy of our incentive schemes. Make HSBC “The Best Place To Work” yet not compromising on our competitiveness
- Review & Develop Competitive Incentive Schemes. By combining behavioral results and benchmarking studies, providing feedback to ASP and Group in developing competitive incentive schemes which treats customers fairly. Provide technical knowledge to the development of incentives schemes
- Alignment with Group’s Best Practices. This includes the study of regional incentive management and the alignment with Group’s incentive reward concepts. It may also include the procurement of incentive management systems that other Group members are using
- Incentives Calibration. Conduct quarterly incentives calibration exercise with various Business Heads and HR to ensure fair and appropriate incentives payouts to sales staffs
- Sales Data Integrity. Working closely with D&IM team to delivery high sales data accuracy to Business Heads
- Sales Staffs Scorecards. Ensure timely release of performance scorecards
- System Maintenance. Working closely with ASP EIM/ GOAL Support team for refinements to systems to meet local requirements/ business needs
- Sales Book Reporting. Providing country’s sales performance to ASP and commentaries on performance trends. Point person in SGH for RBWM monthly sales performance
- Education on RBWM Incentive Framework. Communication of the RBWM Incentive Framework to all sales staffs via Branch visits/ team hurdles
- Support Regulatory Review/ Audit. Point of contact for any regulatory review or audit process with regards to sales incentives management
- Review and own the step progression framework to ensure our career progression path motivate all our frontline sales and is relevant and competitors to local competitors
- Owner of all Recognition and Leadership Training programs to drive the right behaviour and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years proven and progressive branch operations with an international FI
- Strong communication, interpersonal communication skill, client centric and influencing skills
- Sound knowledge of branch banking and FI sales operations
- Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
- Ability to lead and guide a team of members with varying backgrounds
- A strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability
