Secondary Aeis Mathematics Teacher

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Teach **Secondary 3 Mathematics** specifically tailored for **AEIS preparation**, focusing on **MOE syllabus alignment** and the **AEIS test format**.
- Prepare students for **admission into Singapore mainstream secondary schools** by equipping them with the necessary **mathematical concepts, problem-solving skills**, and **exam techniques**.
- **Lesson Planning & Assessment**:

- Develop and deliver **effective lesson plans** that cover **AEIS examination requirements** and ensure students gain confidence in tackling challenging math problems.
- Conduct regular **mock tests, diagnostic assessments**, and **practice drills** modelled after the **AEIS test format**.
- Provide **personalized feedback** and design **intervention strategies** for students needing additional support.
- **Student Development**:

- Identify students’ strengths and weaknesses through **continuous assessment** and adapt teaching methods to suit **diverse learning needs**.
- Help students build a **strong mathematical foundation** that supports both **AEIS success** and future progression into **GCE O-Level** courses.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain an engaging and **disciplined learning environment** suitable for **international students** preparing for high-stakes exams.
- Track and report on **student progress**, working closely with **academic advisors and parents** to ensure holistic development.
- **Professional Development & Collaboration**:

- Participate in **curriculum review meetings**, **staff training**, and **AEIS-specific workshops**.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure **consistent teaching standards** and to share **best practices** for AEIS and O-Level preparation.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain up-to-date records of **student performance**, including **attendance, test results**, and **progress reports**.
- Engage with **parents/guardians** through scheduled meetings to discuss student performance and progress.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum **GCE A-Level qualification** or equivalent with strong **Mathematics background**.
- Familiarity with the **Singapore AEIS curriculum**, **MOE standards**, and **test formats**.
- **Teaching certification** (e.g., PGDE from NIE Singapore or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience teaching **international students**.
