The **Business Directo**r is responsible for the overall management of a client account including creation and communication of effective brand strategies, annual fee and contract negotiations, account staffing and oversight of all client relations and presentations; and provides support and oversight to an Account Management team.

Expectations of a Business Director/Group Account Director
- Manages a portfolio of brands
- Along with Creative Directors and Strategic Planner, sets creative and strategic tone for client account
- Partners with Senior Planners to develop and implement highly strategic plans for brand
- Problem solves on high level account and production issues and knows when to involve Management
- Builds and maintains top level client relationships; acts as key partner and advisor to clients offering strategies and solutions to address their business challenges.
- Oversees annual fee and contract negotiations; works closely with Finance on contract and fee proposals
- Leads monthly client revenue tracking and analyzes revenue impact on account and agency profitability

- Always on a look out for opportunities to grow business behind access to wider Groupe capabilities
- Maintains a sense of discretion and professionalism, representing the Groupe

**Qualifications**
**Requirements**:

- Min 10+ years experience in a creative advertising agency
- Strong strategic thinking and experience delivering successful integrated communications
- Must have solid experience in global accounts
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills required
- Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating and agency profitability
- A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail
- Exceptional initiative and follow through skills
