Childcare Cook

The Cook’s main role is to provide food and beverages preparation and other related services to the community service centres under the care of New Life Community Services.

**Location**:Bukit Panjang & Junction 10

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, serve and cook meals (mainly breakfast & lunch) for children and teachers/staff from Monday to Friday, and Saturdays where required
- Assist in serving meals for children in the centre
- Clean up dining tables and wash dining area
- Upkeep kitchen cleanliness and wash kitchen utensils
- Clear and wash fridge on a weekly basis
- Assist in grocery purchasing necessary for cooking
- Upkeep standards of personal hygiene at all times
- Adhere to ECDA and MSF safety and hygiene guidelines, e.g. Safe Entry Requirements, possession of valid food & hygiene certificates

**Requirements**:

- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels
- 1 year’s experience working as a cook in a preschool or student care centre
- Able to maintain high standards of personal hygiene at all times
- Adherence to ECDA and MSF guidelines, e.g. vaccination requirements, possession of valid food & hygiene certificates
