**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain low latency, high-frequency trading systems.
- Optimize and enhance the performance of existing trading platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain cutting-edge.

**Experience Needed**:

- At least 10+ years of experience in Java software development
- Experience designing and building low latency, HFT, high frequency trading systems.
- A passion for financial markets.
- Proficiency in multi-threading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Experience with network programming and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP).
- Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and data serialization formats (e.g., JSON, Protocol Buffers).
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with algorithmic trading and quantitative analysis.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol and market data feeds.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
