To meet our challenges, we are looking for an Application Technician within the Customer Technical Services (CTS) team This position will be located in Singapore.

CTS teams develop strong relationship with our Global R&D and our commercial & marketing forces to better serve our customers

Their mission?

Position Scope: GBU Food / Greater Asia

Your experience and talents will make the difference to:
1. Application Study

processes, conducting lab trials, operating pilot and lab equipment.

ii. Operate analytical instruments such as texture analyzers, viscometers, etc., collect data

from the experiments and samples, and analyze the data for study reports.

iii. Work with the analytical team for sensory evaluation of samples.

iv. Write study reports and present results in a scientific approach.

2. Prototypes Development and Preparation

trends.

ii. Prepare prototypes based on existing recipes.

iii. Conduct analytical tests on the prototypes and send them for microbial tests if needed.

3. Lab management

i. Conform to safety policies within the CTS Food Lab.

ii. Manage the inventory of consumables and samples

iii. Ensure the proper operation of equipment, order and cleanliness in the laboratory.

iv. Pack samples, prototypes, lab items and arrange for shipping to other sites.

v. Contribute to a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.

What we will love about you:

- Experience in handling laboratory food processing equipment such as retorts, batch cookers, and blenders
- Manufacturing experience
- Good spoken and written English. Spoken Mandarin
- Demonstrates strong internal and external, verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a passion for food science and chemistry
- Has an analytical mind and a passion for searching for new solutions
- Critical thinking
- Effective team player, independent, and resourceful

And also
- Minimum BSc. in Food Science, Technology, Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in any food company
