Senior Executive/assistant Manager Fuel Efficiency

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Maximising utilization of Fuel Efficiency Management System

a. Understand the advanced features of Fuel Efficiency Management System example customising dashboard

b. Develop advanced features so that BU can leverage on Fuel Efficiency Management System

c. Implement data retrieval from Fuel Efficiency Management System so that data can be re-used in SIA EIM environment

2. Coordinate fuel efficiency initiatives

a. Track and report on fuel efficiency KPIs

b. Coordinate with Flt Ops BU to explore and implement initiatives (e.g. RETI for 787 Fleet)

c. Coordinate intra-division meeting for fuel efficiency discussion

d. Manage vendors and contracts related to fuel efficiency initiatives

3. Administer specific fuel related workstreams

a. Coordinate Fuel Management Committee, including liaison with regulators

b. Provide fuel volume forecast to support budgeting process and the rolling forecast, and fuel procurement activities

c. Oversee the Statistical Contingency Fuel (SCF) implementation, including data validation and performance monitoring

d. Oversee the fuel price update into Flight Planning System, to ensure optimal fuel tankering decisions

4. Sustainability representative

a. Coordinate Flt Ops submission for Sustainability Reporting

b. Implement sustainability initiatives within Flt Ops

5. Knowledge of data analytics tools

a. Implementation of data analytic tools in Flt Ops division

b. Manage license and assets supporting data analytics

c. Work with BU to develop dashboards

d. Publish dashboards to relevant users

e. Advocating use of tools to users

f. 1st level support to users

6. Knowledge in data analytics methods

a. Statistical study of data for operational excellence

b. Translate business insights to stakeholders and identify business opportunities where possible

7. Collaboration with Industry Partners to drive fuel efficiency

a. Source for industry partners with aligned goals (e.g. ATM)

b. Develop joint projects and implement with partners

8. Managing of Apps related to Fuel Efficiency

a. Product owner of apps related to fuel efficiency (e.g. Pilot Awareness App, Opticlimb)

b. Managing the development of such apps from business aspect e.g. UAT

c. Single point of contact for crew on feedback related to app

d. Reporting of the app key results to management

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in engineering or aviation
- Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or aviation (operation) position
- Experience in basic data analytics
- Project management skills
- Curiosity (Looking for opportunities for optimisation)
- Analytical (Studying if the opportunity is beneficial)
- Collaborative (Working with others to implement)
