You will manage a team of software engineers and electrical engineers developing EDA simulation software through the Keysight/PSS Project lifecycle (PLC) from Concept to Shipment. You will work closely with Product Planners/Owners and Marketing, Sales, and even customers. You will also have a unique opportunity to recruit and hire many CS and EE engineers for your team as well as develop and lead new team members. You need to be an expert in OOP software development, be an expert in C++, and be hands-on and contribute to software development as needed. The product that your team will work on will be a new or existing product from the PSS portfolio of EDA products
- Take ownership and drive teams to deliver quality products on time following the Agile software development process.
- Manage a fully Agile software development team in a geographically distributed organization
- Proactively seek partnerships and collaborate with multi-functional product development teams to define software strategy, product roadmap, and technology roadmap.
- Build and grow a high-performance team through recruiting, coaching, engagement, and performance management.
- Build and nurture a culture in software organization of quality, ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making
- Make technical presentations to key customers and senior management

**Job Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience required.
- 5+yrs of experience in a technical software development role such as a software architect or software senior engineer
- Must have expert working knowledge of C++ and OOP
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills

**It would be a plus if you also possess**:

- Prior experience in managing and growing (software) engineering teams
- Prior experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Knowledge of EDA tools and EDA flows
- Proficient in designing data structures, algorithms, and specifications for complex software projects
