**Risk Analyst**

Singapore - Hybrid working mode

In this role, you will be supporting the implementation of the overall risk management governance and the Internal Control Framework (governance, policy, procedures and processes) throughout the APAC region; identify, measure, monitor and manage operational risks in AXAXL APAC Region to minimize losses and negative impact; advocate a sound, open and pro-active risk culture by working closely with all stakeholders and to support and/or hold workshops/training sessions.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Meeting with risk and control owners on risk register review and update.
- Review the effectiveness of existing control designs and operations through macro process.
- Organizing risk workshops/trainings.
- Loss Data Reporting - collection, investigation and reporting of loss incidents. Work with relevant stakeholders in identifying root causes and mitigation plans.
- Key Risk reporting - collection, assessment and monitoring of key risks indicators’ trend by working with relevant stakeholders to identify appropriate remedial actions.
- Risk quantification - assist in collection of data for quantification of key risks as required by the differing Centre of Excellence.
- Support in preparing reports for various risk management meetings such as ExCom and RMC.
- Support in the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process.
- Provide support, when needed, to APAC risk team.

You will report to the Head of Risk Management APAC.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related majors from reputable universities.
- Experience: Minimum 2- 3 years’ work experience, minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant industry experience in the same function. Experience in the same industry is preferred.
- Ability to build effective working relationships (internally/externally), establishing credibility amongst a wide and demanding client group
- Demonstrable evidence of interpreting & manipulating data clearly and accurately with the ability to extract & clearly articulate key points
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a confident and articulate presenter to internal/external audiences, exercising appropriate discretion in dealing with people from all levels of the Company
- Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data entry or data outputs
- Able to organise self (and others if applicable) including effective scheduling, prioritisation and time management skills, completing tasks to tight deadlines. Demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude
- Comfortable taking ownership for own work, identifying the need for action (using initiative) whilst working effectively within a team.
- Displays a resilient and adaptable style, track record of remaining calm in demanding circumstances, adjusting comfortably to changing conditions / priorities
- The role would suit highly driven self-starters, with a strong desire to challenge and deliver.
- Preferable Knowledge and Skills:

- Solid compliance experience in Company and or Lloyd’s markets
- Up to date appreciation of the technical requirements of the role
- Proven ability in identifying and analysing problems, creating good solutions, deploying sound decision making skills.
- Proven track record of knowing what it takes to provide a consistently first class customer service internally and/or externally
- First class report writing skills, ability to develop and present ideas and reasoned arguments clearly and concisely to various audiences
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; specifically Excel (including ability to manage if not write macros), Outlook, Word, Powerpoint
