**About Our Client**:Our client is an engineering consultancy specializing in the offshore oil and gas industry.

**About the role**:This position is offered on a 1-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
- Prepare piping designs and layout drawings for offshore oil and gas projects, including process piping, support systems, and valves.
- Develop detailed piping diagrams, isometrics, and layouts to meet project specifications.
- Work closely with the mechanical and structural teams to ensure piping systems integrate properly within the overall design.
- Assist in preparing piping design packages, including material specifications, piping support details, and bill of materials.
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of piping designs and materials.
- Communicate progress updates, design challenges, and solutions with the project team.
- Guide and review the work of junior piping designers to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Support the offshore installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems.
- Conduct site visits to monitor installation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that designs are being followed correctly.

**About you**:

- Degree in Mechanical/Piping Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of piping design experience in offshore oil and gas.
- Proficiency in piping design software (AutoCAD, PDS, Plant 3D, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of piping codes, industry standards, and offshore safety regulations.
