**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Deputy Tunnel Manager’s primary responsibilities may include the following, but not limited to:

- Lead a team of Tunnelling Engineers, Supervisors & workers in tunnelling execution works as per the Project Schedule and Building regulations.
- Liaise closely with sub-contractors, architects, consultants and authorities; set guidelines and provide expertise advise and supervision to the team.
- Liaise with LTA throughout all phases of the project to ensure works progressing in line with spec & program.
- Plan and strategy of tunnel construction by TBM.
- Construction of shaft structure including review of tunnel and shaft design.
- Control of TBM activities and technical matters.
- Sufficient capability to support and review bid-related documents including Invitation to Bid (ITB) / Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents, conditions, drawing verification and quantity estimation related to Tunnelling activities.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Tunnelling field,with at least 3 years of experience in Tunnelling project tender.
- Experiences in both EPB TBM and Mixshield TBM is a must.
- Experience in Tunnel Design is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
- 6.0 days work-week and must be committed to work on weekends and public holidays if needs arise.
