**Position Summary**

Vega Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Operations Analyst or Operations Manager to be an integral part of the middle office operations team to design and develop the necessary processes in order to deliver high quality insights that enable us to improve decision making processes and resource allocation company-wide. The individual will work closely with the middle office operations team to design, develop and deliver MO policies, tools, reports and risk management solutions. This position will ensure strategic and tactical business decisions are informed by data-driven insights.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with Front Office to support their trading needs in blockchain space which includes but not limited to account onboarding, account setup, on-chain transactions monitoring, agreement review
- Daily trade capture, reconciliation, cash management, margin monitoring and provide essential internal reporting to Finance and Senior Management
- Monthly and quarterly PnL and inventory reporting
- Implement risk control parameters to accommodate the increasing trading volume in blockchain space
- Project lead of MO projects. Liaise with other functions including but not limited to Front Office, Technology and Finance to ensure major project milestones are met and final products are delivered
- Develop relationships with management to gain a deep understanding of the business and identify opportunities to influence business decisions

**Job Requirements**
- 2-4 years’ experience in middle office in the financial services industry (preferably from product controller role) or high-frequency trading firms
- Understanding and experienced in Defi, Dex or other crypto projects, product is an advantage, preferably with 1-2 year experience related to crypto
- Bachelor’s degree in finance
- Financial and technical knowledge required
- Experience manipulating and analyzing large raw data sets
- Strong project management skills and can stay organized with multiple competing priorities
- Detail oriented and comfortable dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Being able to deliver results at the highest standard under tight deadline
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Must be a team player with the ability to work effectively in a team or independently
- Hard-working and eager to learn in a highly intellectual, innovative environment
- Excellent Excel, Google sheet skills
