Process Development Scientist Iii

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform laboratory work in the cell line and upstream process development team contributing to the development of processes suitable for technology transfer to the cGMP manufacturing teams. An understanding of cGMP manufacturing facility constraints and their impact on development activities will be developed.
- Contribute to process validation / characterization activities by performing supporting laboratory scale studies
- Interpret analytical data provided by the analytical team to define subsequent steps
- Work as part of a site and global project team and ensure timely delivery of project work stages
- Deliver high quality communication to ensure an outstanding customer experience with our clients (written reports, teleconferences and face to face meetings)
- Perform mammalian cell culture processes include: Cell Line Development (routine cell culture, FACS); Process Development (10L/50L laboratory scale bioreactors); Process Characterization (10L/50L laboratory scale bioreactors).

**Requirements**:

- PhD/Masters with at least 4-6 years of industrial experience in a relevant science field bioprocessing, bioengineering, chemical engineering or equivalent
- Work authorization in Singapore
- Demonstrable laboratory experience in mammalian cell line development and/or upstream process development is required
- Experience with ACTG genetic medicine modalities manufacturing including cell therapy, viral gene therapy or nucleic acid therapies.
- Familiarity with DoE methodologies
- Understanding of cGMP regulations and how they influence design/PD choices
- Demonstrable problem solving, analytical and teamworking skills.
- Excellent communication skills in presentation and memo formats
