**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Primary Responsibilities (80%)**
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations of the assigned pharmacy section.
- Independently manage medication supply to patients, including dispensing and compounding (e.g., unit dose, IV admixtures, investigational drugs).
- Monitor patient drug therapies for safety and effectiveness; develop appropriate monitoring criteria.
- Provide drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Coordinate section activities with other pharmacy units.
- Gather feedback and suggestions from staff to aid pharmacy leadership decisions.
- Implement departmental policies and ensure compliance with MOH and JCI standards.
- Promote compassionate, courteous, and professional conduct within the team.
- Oversee staff rostering and ensure quality service delivery.

**Secondary Responsibilities (20%)**
- Develop and audit quality assurance measures; report findings to the head of pharmacy.
- Lead orientation and development programs for new and existing staff.
- Support expansion of pharmacy services and review policies regularly.
- Contribute to the profession through publications or presentations annually.
- Recommend policy/procedure changes with appropriate approvals.

**Requirements**:

- Independent and proactive with strong communication skills.
- Hospital experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year as a fully registered pharmacist.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
