**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Job Brief**

The Software Analyst will be responsible for the gathering requirement and produce acceptance criteria based on stakeholder and partner’s input. You will be part of a team with members all around the world all working to get the best out of the systems to fit business in all regions. Our business is smart metering but we are moving to IoT and Data Analytic. You will be working at the edge of the technology and supported by a strong positioned company like EDMI.
- Working with stakeholders, taking ownership to define outsource product requirement, expected result & acceptance criteria.
- Develop detailed Test Plans, Test Scripts, and Use Cases from requirement documents and design specifications
- Working with an outsource partner to review design documents, test cases, test coverage & user guides.
- Coordinate with the internal Development team if integration is required.
- Coordinate with the internal Architect team to ensure the outsource product is developed according to guidelines and standard if necessary.
- Acting as Outsource Product Owner, follow up closely with the outsource partner to ensure product is developed according to expectation, detect any early failure or misunderstanding and correct them earlier. This includes attending outsource party’s scrum meetings, design and review meetings.
- Review test report and conduct user acceptance test to accept final product.
- Automate acceptance testing, regression testing and releasing both in-house and outsource software.
- Release both in-house and outsource software with appropriate user guides/manual

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Electronic/Computer/Software Engineering or Information Technology.
- Good documentation skill, capable of translating verbal requirements from stakeholder into concept and requirement documents.
- Hands on experience on automation and other automation tools
- Experience in database administration/management, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server
- Commanding knowledge in PL/SQL
- Good understanding of black box testing methodologies
- Experience writing or enhancing test harness/framework
- Experience in mapping requirements to test cases and the ability to generate ideas to enhance the existing process for requirement traceability
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL Scripting, Python, RobotFramework, Java Script, API would be an added advantage.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive working attitude
- Flexible and adaptive with frequent changes
- Ability to work independently on assigned task with minimum supervision
- Attention to detail and self-driven
- Should be a fast learner and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
