IT Governance Analyst
Job Summary
Howden Group is experiencing incredible growth, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our IT Governance Team as a Senior ServiceNow Developer. Based within the City of London, this permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with the existing ServiceNow team and take responsibility for the ServiceNow platform. The role follows a Hybrid model requiring you to be in the office three times a week. The business is looking to implement additional modules such as ITOM, HRSD, CSM as well as scaling the Knowledge Base, Service Catalog and Virtual Agent to boost self-service.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the Head of IT Governance and the Head of Group IT Support to build the strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow platform.
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions using ServiceNow modules, aligning them with the end clients’ goals to ensure optimal performance.
- Act as a liaison with partners to ensure efficient and effective support.
- Managing platform upgrades, including testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Facilitate training sessions to enhance the team's proficiency in using ServiceNow modules.
- Monitoring the performance of implemented solutions, ensuring that these meet established solutions and outcomes.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining ServiceNow documentation, such as system and process documentation, knowledge base articles, and training material.
- Working collaboratively with other members of the IT Department to support and enhance the overall IT infrastructure.
- Providing status reports to the team leaders and other stakeholders as needed.
- Attending relevant training and certification courses to maintain and improve ITSM and ServiceNow skills.
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Completed a degree program related to Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with ServiceNow Development.
- Experience of implementing HRSD, ITSM and ITOM would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of integrations and E-bonding.
- CSA and CAD certified. CIS implementation certifications are a bonus.
- Well versed with a variety of coding languages including HTML, JavaScript, Angular.js etc.
- REST/SOAP API's.
- Experience of training less-experienced team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.
