Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage I.T. budget (including both I.T. investments and expenses) and drive I.T. cost transformation across MUFG APAC
- Lead the regional IT finance practice and establish process and governance that promotes and drives I.T. strategy (Mid Term Business Plan) and KPIs, technology vision and I.T. financial accountability
- Implement business plans and processes across IT, including the planning, monitoring and reporting of actuals vs budget, risks & opportunities and re-forecasts, to ensure all cost management controls and targets are incorporated.
- Provide financial advice to the regional and country IT Leaders to assist in the management of the IT department’s financials, including identifying opportunities and escalating risks to APAC CIO
- Build strong working relationships with I.T. leaders across MUFG APAC to ensure the required level of cooperation and support is achieved and maintained. At the same time, assertively challenge them on all aspects of financial management to support robust analysis of IT investments and spend
- To cooperate closely with accounting departments and resolve any payments and accounting related matters
Job Requirements:
- A Degree, with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in managing I.T. finance in a global / regional organization
- Proven experience in financial management practices and processes, including cost allocation methodology, detailed expense management and managing the key controls
- Proven experience of driving I.T. cost transformation and financial reporting on a regional scale
- Strong and assertive leadership, willingness to drive change and negotiate for an optimal outcome with key stakeholders
- Experienced in communication and presentation in a clear and concise manner to senior management and stakeholders.
- Good interpersonal and people management skills, with experience of leading a team to manage finances across APAC
- Good planning, monitoring, and reporting capabilities
- Proactive and willing to be hands-on when required
